At the age of 25, Bruno Schibli built the Kino Palace on Aarauerstasse in Olten in 1926 and ran it together with his wife Emma Ruth Schibli. His cousin Kurt Schibli was on the pitch with the Kino Lichtspiel (1916), Kino Capitol (1932) and Kino Rex (1948). In 1982 the three cinemas Lichtspiele, Capitol and Rex were taken over by the real estate entrepreneur Walter Thommen and in 1987 handed over to Peter (son of Bruno and Emma Schibli) and Isabelle Schibli.
